Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator/ Trainee/Laborer

The Ford City Sewage Authority is accepting applications for full time positions at the wastewater treatment plant for a certified operator, operator trainee and/or laborer for employment at our 1.3 million galllon-a-day plant. This position will consist of working in all phases of the operation and maintenance of the plant. This position requires working in all weather conditions and being able to pass a criminal background check which includes references, previous employment and drug test. The employee must be able to work weekends and holidays. Applicants should have a Pennsylvania Wastewater Operator B E 2-4 or be able obtain it within 3 years. Compensation includes competitive salary based on experience, paid vacation, paid sick leave, paid holidays, health insurance, and a pension program.
