Key Responsibilities: Designing and developing parts and assemblies for defibrillator/monitor products and related accessories. Creating designs that include plastic parts, electronics packaging, electro-mechanical systems, wire harnesses, cables, patient-facing accessories, and power systems. Researching, developing, modifying, and verifying components and modules under minimal supervision. Translating design inputs into detailed engineering specifications and producing subsystem-level designs. Developing and analyzing engineering solutions, applying fundamental and advanced concepts to solve complex problems. Troubleshooting engineering design issues and implementing effective design changes. Following industry standards, design requirements, and testing strategies in compliance with regulatory and quality requirements. Creating and refining engineering documentation, including contributions to the Design History File. Following R D procedures such as design controls and risk management per the Quality Management System. Processing and assimilating new procedures, policies, systems, and technologies quickly. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the medical device, aerospace, or high-precision manufacturing industries. Proficient in 3D CAD modeling and drafting (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo). Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. Experience conducting design validation and verification activities. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a track record of collaborating across disciplines. Familiarity with relevant standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA QSR).
