Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for new product design and legacy product support within the sensors group. The role involves working both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to complete circuit design, testing, and documentation throughout the entire project lifecycle. Typically, candidates will work on 2-3 projects simultaneously and need to have excellent communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new products and support legacy products within the sensors group.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete circuit design, testing, and documentation.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to specifications.
  • Perform digital and power design for embedded products.
  • Conduct circuit design, PCB design, and layout using tools such as Altium.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of circuit design experience.
  • Experience in digital and power design for embedded products.
  • Proficiency in electrical design and PCB design.
  • Experience with Altium software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of DFMEA or some form of failure analysis.
  • Skills in hardware testing, analog and digital design, schematic capture, and electronic engineering.

Work Environment

The role involves working on future technology for Electric Vehicles, with a significant focus on electrifying vehicle controls. The sensors group has experienced considerable growth due to this push. The candidate will be part of a team of five Electrical Engineers and will closely partner with Mechanical and Project Engineering teams. There could be some flexibility with remote work (once a week); however, there is a preference for onsite work five days a week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $55.00/hr.
