Bridge Project Manager

Job Description

As a Bridge Project Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing the planning, cost development, management, and scheduling of assigned projects. Your expertise will be crucial in inspecting and reviewing structural design calculations, plans, and reports. You will ensure quality assurance and quality control standards are met, while actively participating in the design of box culverts, head walls, and retaining walls. Your primary focus will be on bridge design, making up 90% of your projects.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in planning, cost development, management, and scheduling for assigned projects.
  • Inspect and review structural design calculations, plans, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards through quality assurance and quality control.
  • Design box culverts, head walls, and retaining walls.
  • Complete analysis of bridges and box culverts.
Essential Skills
  • 4+ years of structural engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in project management and bridge design.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation.
  • Understanding of box culverts, head walls, and retaining walls.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Must currently hold an SE or be eligible to obtain one.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Must reside within the Midwest or surrounding states for remote work consideration.
Work Environment

This position is fully remote, with potential visits to projects 3-4 times a year depending on project needs. The department is small, offering a close-knit working environment. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $50.96/hr.
