Construction Sales / Estimator (Structural And Foundation)

Alpha Structural is the #1 Foundation and Structural Repair company in Los Angeles. We have been in business 30 years and are the best at what we do. We have been expanding very quickly and will be opening an office in Ventura/Santa Barbara. We currently have headquarters in LA where training will be held for 4-5 months, and a second office in OC.

Alpha Structural, Inc. is a specialty engineering and construction firm with three Contractor Licenses for General Engineering (A), Concrete Specialty (C-8) and General Building Construction (B), and Civil and Structural Engineering licenses. Our firm provides in-house Structural and Civil Engineering, Drafting and Plan Development, and Permit Expediting to secure approval for our projects. Alpha Structural, Inc. has a full complement of experienced Project Managers and Project Supervisors, has thirty (30) heavily experienced in-house construction crews and a wide variety of specialty material suppliers and sub-contractors to complete any project we are tasked with.

Job Description:
Minimum five (5) years of hands-on construction and/or engineering experience is required. You will be trained in our structural & geotechnical repair and upgrade means and methods and technical sales techniques.

Once trained in our means and methods, you will be provided with an Alpha Structural, Inc. uniform to wear during client appointments and meetings. You will be provided with 8 12 warm/hot client leads by our in-house lead qualification department. You will drive to each appointment scheduled for you multiple days each week to meet with prospective clients, evaluate the scope of work for any structural or soil-related work that we perform, accurately budget and cost the work, draft and type contracts, negotiate and close the contract/sale and turn the project over to our engineering and construction divisions.

You will be inspecting the building or land and proposing solutions to the Building Owner or their representatives who are in need of some sort of structural/soil repair or upgrade that they have inquired about. You will be responsible for providing bids for engineering and construction services, attaining your weekly sales quota of projects sold, customer service and maintaining customer relations and client communication.

An additional duty of this position is construction estimating and repair consulting for the real estate community for residential or commercial property being bought or sold. This function consists of meeting Buyers and Sellers of real property, evaluating concerns of structural or soil-related issues and providing a written summary of the meeting and observations with repair recommendations and estimates

MUST BE PHYSICALLY ABLE TO FULLY INSPECT SINGLE-FAMILY HOMES, COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS, HIGH-RISE BUILDINGS AND SLOPES OR CHALLENGING TERRAIN. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE CRAWLING UNDER BUILDINGS, CRAWLING IN TIGHT CRAWLSPACES AND TIGHT ACCESS AREAS, BASEMENT ACCESS, CLIMBING STAIRS AND LADDERS, WALKING UP AND DOWN HILLSIDE AREAS AND OR SLOPES.

Must own your own vehicle and have a valid driver's license.

Compensation/Benefits:

-Commission Only - $80,000 - $350,000+ Annually
