Overview:We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Estimator / Project Manager (PM) to lead our Hot Aisle Containment (HAC) and Ceiling Grid Division on a national scale . This role will be responsible for full lifecycle management of HAC and ceiling grid projects—from estimating and bidding, through execution, to final closeout. The ideal candidate brings technical expertise, field experience, and strong leadership skills to help us grow this specialized division across multiple markets.
Key Responsibilities: Estimating:Review architectural and MEP drawings to identify scope of work related to HAC and ceiling grid systems.
Perform accurate takeoffs and prepare detailed estimates and proposals.
Solicit and evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotes.
Support business development and preconstruction efforts with pricing and technical solutions.
Manage multiple projects concurrently across the U.S., ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
Lead preconstruction planning, procurement, and scheduling.
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project execution aligns with expectations.
Conduct site visits and oversee key milestones, including install quality and safety compliance.
Track and manage job costs, change orders, and project documentation.
Help develop and implement standardized processes for estimating and project delivery.
Mentor field staff and installers across markets.
Partner with leadership to identify growth opportunities and expand our HAC/Grid capabilities nationwide.
Minimum 5 years of experience in construction estimating and project management.
Strong knowledge of Hot Aisle Containment systems , ceiling grid installations , and associated structural components (Unistrut, cold-rolled steel, etc.).
Ability to interpret architectural, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
Proven experience managing crews and subcontractors.
Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Willingness to travel nationwide as needed (approx. 25–50%).
Prior experience in data center, clean room, or high-tech environments .
Familiarity with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Autocad, or similar).
OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training.
