Summary: Seeking a Civil Engineer with expertise in site planning, drainage, and roadway design for major transportation projects.
Requirements:
BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
1+ years of relevant site planning experience
Experience with large transportation projects
Proficiency in OpenRoads Designer (ORD)
Proficient with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Willingness to work in a hybrid model (3 days in office; 2 days remote)
Preferred Skills:
MS Degree
EIT or PE registration
Bridge experience
Experience with Microstation, Geopak, Land Desktop software
Responsibilities:
Plan, schedule, conduct, or coordinate civil engineering work
Conceptualize initial design approach for major phases of land planning projects
Perform engineering assignments and collaborate on designs within the team
Design and produce conceptual plans and specifications for site layout, grading and drainage systems, stormwater management, paving, and utility design
Assist in preparation of improvement plans and permit applications for various developments and public works projects
Check, interpret and revise engineering drawings and reports for major projects
Conduct research to resolve problems such as conflicting design requirements or difficult coordination requirements
Participate in contract bidding and administration
Supervise project progress including coordination with officials and agencies
