Construction Project Accounting

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for construction and accounting? Monumental Builders is seeking a Construction focused Project Accountant to join our team in Chevy Chase, MD. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our construction projects. Daily Responsibilities:

• Manage project budgets and financial reporting
• Prepare and review punch out lists
• Process submittals and change orders
• Assist with scope development and project closeout
• Coordinate project controls and requests for information

Required Skills:

• Experience in Custom Home construction
• Knowledge of construction accounting
• Ability to work on pre-construction and construction management
• Computer and AI query skills are essential
• Strong understanding of Custom Home building process

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with contract writing and bidding
• Knowledge of value engineering
• Knowledge of JobTread or simular Construction Management software. 

Minimum Salary: $60,000.00

Maximum Salary: $80,000.00
