• Design high-voltage transmission lines using PLS-CADD and industry standards (RUS, NESC, IEEE, etc.)
• Lead siting and structural design for new and special transmission and substation projects
• Prepare detailed specs, contracts, and stringing charts for construction teams
• Oversee and review engineering work to ensure safety, performance, and compliance
• Manage multiple projects from concept to completion
• Conduct studies on grounding, lightning, corona effects, and more
• Collaborate with a team of skilled engineers to solve complex challenges

• Bachelors degree in Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering (ABET-accredited)
• 3+ years of experience in transmission line design
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD and knowledge of surveying techniques (LiDAR, photogrammetry, etc.)
• EIT or PE license preferred
• Strong communication and project management skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $98280.00 - $158080.00/yr.
