We are looking for a skilled and motivated Woodworker Shop Foreman to join our team. If you have at least 7 years of woodworking experience, strong leadership skills, and are ready for new challenges and growth opportunities, this position is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise daily shop operations, ensuring efficiency and quality.
Read and interpret shop drawings; create basic sketches for project clarity.
Provide accurate cutting lists from shop drawings for machinery operators.
Take field measurements for installations and contribute to product design.
Calculate the amount of materials needed for each project and assist with purchasing and procurement.
Make deliveries as neededmust have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
Step into production roles as required (benchman, cutter, etc.) to maintain workflow.
Maintain shop organization, safety, and equipment.
Communicate effectively with team members and management.
Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of professional woodworking experience.
Proficient in reading and sketching shop drawings.
Valid drivers license (required for deliveries and fieldwork).

Mix and prepare stain colors to match what is needed for each project.
Put stains, finishes, and sealants on all kinds of wood and veneer panels.
Work with different types of wood and know how to finish each kind.
Sand, fill, and smooth wood to get it ready for finishing.

You have experience finishing and staining wood, including matching colors and working with veneer.
You know about different kinds of wood and how to finish them.

You can help in other jobs in the shop if needed.
