Painter

MMY US is seeking a skilled Painter to join our modular construction team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating paint rigs and applying coatings to a variety of surfaces, ensuring a consistent and high-quality finish. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of paint types and surface preparation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate airless paint rigs and other painting equipment to apply finishes on modular structures and components.

Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, caulking, masking, and cleaning as needed.

Mix paints to match required specifications and ensure uniform application.

Apply primer, paint, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces including walls, trim, and fixtures.

Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and touch up as necessary.

Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE during painting operations.

Maintain and clean painting tools and equipment regularly.

Coordinate with supervisors and other team members to meet production deadlines.

Qualifications:

Proven experience operating paint rigs in a construction or manufacturing setting.

Knowledge of various paint types, application techniques, and surface preparation methods.

Ability to read and understand instructions, drawings, or blueprints (preferred).

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Ability to work on ladders or scaffolds as needed.

Physically able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Experience in Modular construction is preferred
