General Labor / Production Helper Paying $23.50 / HR Location: Portland, OR Responsibilities: Operate forklifts to moves stacks of paper to sorting area. Work with team member to inspect individual sheets of paper visually for defects. Move good paper sheets back to production area. Trash bad paper sheets. Will report to quality manager and work with quality manager to ensure work is done correctly. Will train to spot defects. Qualifications: Prefers to hire candidates with a manufacturing or warehouse backgrounds but they are open to considering anyone who has the right attitude and drive and is okay working in an industrial environment. Previous experience operating forklifts is required. Environment / Shift: Industrial manufacturing, heavy machinery, wear PPE including safety shoes, hard hats, earplugs, safety glasses.
