Job Description Olsson provides construction management, administration, and observation services for both public and private projects to assure that work is performed in conformance with project documents. Our construction services include daily observation / inspection, project documentation, submittal review, design support, shop drawing review, payment application review, payroll review, and oversight for materials testing. We provide technically qualified personnel for our clients' specific project requirements. As the Senior Construction Manager, you will provide a high-level of technical support and lead quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) within the Construction Administration and Management team. You will act as an advisor on complex projects and apply your advanced experience to independently make recommendations and decisions regarding construction work. This role conceptualizes and creates high quality solutions to ensure projects have the predictability they deserve by adeptly planning, coordinating, and managing overall construction progress and accountability. This role will include being onsite at multiple locations and will require travel at times. You will work in all types of terrain and weather conditions. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Provides high-level technical direction and quality and constructability review for complex projects. Serves as a technical specialist, applying advanced construction management concepts and developing approaches to solve for complexities. Performs QA/QC and ensures the delivery of completed projects meets quality standards and project objectives. Conducts reviews of projects of considerable scope and complexity. Advises and directs staff on construction approaches to fulfill project requirements. Works collaboratively to promote efficiencies and produce high quality work. Contributes to the development of standards and/or guidelines for construction management activities within the team. May supervise and review technical assignments of less experienced staff.
