Press Brake Operator Job Description Join a dynamic team in aerospace sheet metal fabrication, where you will operate and manage a 3-axis press brake machine. You will work with PC controls, specifically the OMADA machine, to form aluminum and stainless steel components. Responsibilities Calculate bend allowances for formed parts. Identify appropriate tooling for part designs. Setup and program the press brake for various jobs. Form parts according to specifications and ensure they meet all requirements. Adhere to quality procedures to ensure products meet specifications. Identify and manage nonconforming parts according to established procedures. Package completed orders and complete all required documentation. Operate CNC and machine operations efficiently. Essential Skills Experience with blueprint reading. Proficiency in operating press brake and understanding of axis movements. Knowledge of aerospace metal forming, specifically with aluminum and stainless steel. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 1 - 50 lbs frequently. Capability to squat, kneel, bend, stoop, twist, turn, grasp, and reach frequently. Able to sit, stand, and walk for 1 - 10 hours per day. Work effectively in a 55 - 85 degree Fahrenheit environment. Experience in a fast-paced industrial setting with necessary protective gear.
