Description

Our client is looking to add a Concrete Superintendent to their growing team. This role will lead a crew of 3-4 workers on a variety of heavy civil concrete projects, including sidewalks, curbs, and related infrastructure. Projects are located throughout central and southern Indiana, primarily between Indianapolis and Bloomington. This construction company is a third-generation, family-owned company based in Seymour, IN, known for its experienced team and commitment to quality in concrete, excavation, and demolition work.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of a concrete crew (3-4 workers)
• Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and specifications
• Ensure proper layout, forming, pouring, and finishing of concrete for sidewalks, curbs, and other civil structures
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity on site
• Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors
• Track materials, labor, and equipment usage
• Train and mentor crew members to improve skills and efficiency
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Must Have Details

• Roughly 10 years of concrete construction experience at any level
• 3 years of working as a foreman or higher
• Experience with curbs, sidewalks, and walking paths
• Experience running crews of at least 3
• Strong knowledge of forming systems, concrete placement, and finishing techniques
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
