Warehouse Supervisor Job Description The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to safety and company standards. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory accuracy, and maintaining performance metrics to meet organizational goals. Responsibilities Supervise and manage daily warehouse operations. Ensure efficient resource utilization and adherence to safety standards. Oversee staff performance, provide training, motivation, and discipline as needed. Manage inventory accuracy and maintain performance metrics. Implement improvements to meet organizational goals. Foster a positive team environment and ensure compliance with company policies. Essential Skills Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong conflict resolution and employee coaching skills. Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (e.g., SAP, Oracle). In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards. Strong analytical thinking and data interpretation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with Lean principles, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Understanding of inventory control techniques and cycle counting. Experience conducting safety audits and implementing corrective actions. Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with departments like logistics, procurement, and customer service. Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) - APICS. Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) - APICS. Forklift Operator Certification or Material Handling Equipment Certification. First Aid/CPR Certification (for safety leadership roles). Why Work Here? The role is physically demanding, requiring lifting up to 70 lbs, frequent movement, and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
