Camas Valley School District is accepting applications for a Maintenance/Facility Supervisor. This position is 260 days per year, 8 hours per day to begin in the 2025-26 school year.

JOB SUMMARYThis position is responsible for the supervision, evaluation, and coordination of the custodial activities and the cleaning and maintenance of the school building(s) and grounds. Work schedule will change periodically to meet seasonal and athletic facilities schedule/needs.

Full job description attached in Applitrack.Must have good diagnostic skills and be able to perform maintenance repair work to maintain the district with the following systems: appliances, HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems (including water lines), carpentry, painting & sheetrock, roofing, pest control and waste system.Assists with the preparation of maintenance operation budget.Ability to supervise the work routine of maintenance and custodial staff within a tightly structured timeframe to assure maintaining the district's facilities and grounds in a condition of excellence.Maintain sufficient inventories of tools, parts and supplies to properly maintain the property.Maintains systems for monitoring and tracking service requests, preventive maintenance work performed, compliance with Hazard Communications program requirements, compliance with safety requirements, supplies and parts inventories and purchases.Works with Superintendent or designee to conduct regular on-site safety meetings and ensures compliance with all federal, state and local safety regulations, including OSHA, EPA, Workers Compensation and Hazard Communications. Ensures that all hazardous materials are properly labeled, stored and handled.Regularly inspects property for safety and security issues, including, but not limited to non-functioning lights, ground and trip hazards, broken fences, exposed wiring, potholes and sewer line breaks.Performs routine grounds keeping duties including insect control, grass cutting, and tree and shrub trimming to maintain the grounds in a safe and attractive condition. Removes debris from school grounds.Review custodial staff time sheets, injury reports, safety inspections and other similar reports when requested.Be on call for evening, weekend and holiday emergencies relating to security, custodial and/or maintenance of the building and grounds.Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONSHigh School diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of three (3) years' experience in work relating to the care and maintenance of buildings and grounds.Ability to successfully complete the Oregon Integrated Pest Management exam and Herbicide exam.Ability to follow District, ODE-related, and OSHA safety regulations, policies and guidance.
