As an Advanced Electrical Engineer, you'll be a hands-on contributor and technical problem solver, helping drive new product development and continuous improvement for our connected devices. You'll take ownership of critical parts of the design process, lead electrical/embedded firmware efforts, and play a key role in shaping the next generation of our Air Quality Management and Business Solutions products.

This role blends electrical engineering, embedded software design, testing, and collaboration across disciplines. You'll help us scale innovation through:

Designing and prototyping electrical control systems that align with global safety standards (UL, IEC, etc.)

Developing and testing embedded firmware/software for microcontrollers and real-time systems

Contributing to system architecture across hardware and software layers

Supporting improvements to product reliability, energy efficiency, and connectivity (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE)

You're a Great Fit If You

Live in the embedded software space but can speak the language of hardware engineers

Understand how electrical systems fit into the bigger picture, even if you haven't designed every piece from scratch

Thrive in a collaborative environment with fast-paced decision-making and lots of room to explore new ideas

Have a knack for problem-solving, debugging, and thinking critically under pressure

What You Bring to the Team

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering

A minimum of five (5) years of relevant electrical engineering experience, including firmware/software experience with connected products

Strong working knowledge of analog/digital circuit design, microcontroller programming, and tools like oscilloscopes and multimeters

Proficiency with PCB design tools and embedded systems (e.g., C/C++)

Clear communication skills and a proactive, self-driven approach

Willingness to travel internationally up to 5 percent (e.g., China)

Preferred:

Experience with object-oriented programming languages (e.g., C++, Elixir, Erlang)

Familiarity with low-level drivers and comms protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, USB, etc.)

Experience in real-time operating systems and cloud-connected devices

Altium ECAD, Github, Jira experience

Passion for tinkering, prototyping, and continuously learning
