Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Project Engineer to join our team. The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing projects within the organization, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role specifically requires experience in managing projects within medical facilities. Responsibilities
- Develop project plans, review project proposals, and determine project objectives.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, including materials, labor, and other associated costs.
- Coordinate with different teams and professionals, such as contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure all parties are aligned with project objectives.
- Assess and mitigate project risks, including analyzing and managing technical risks.
- Ensure the project is compliant with applicable laws, standards, and regulations, particularly those relevant to medical facilities.
- Monitor project progress to ensure it is staying on time and within budget, making adjustments as necessary.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and upper management through reports and presentations.
- Oversee troubleshooting and problem-solving processes for project design and product issues.
- Maintain detailed project notes and records, and participate in final testing, commissioning, and handover processes.
- Oversee the design and construction of medical facilities, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure the facility meets the needs of medical staff and patients.
- Manage the installation and integration of medical equipment and systems.
- Ensure the project adheres to strict hygiene and safety standards required in medical environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management and engineering roles, with specific experience in medical facility projects.
- Proficiency in project management software and engineering tools.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
