Production FOREMAN

PAGANI STUDIO is a luxury lighting design and manufacturing studio located in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The studio has been producing high-end lighting fixtures for 2+ decades, here in Brooklyn. Our clientele spans the residential, commercial, and nautical sectors. We design, fabricate, and assemble our product here in house, in a small team setting.

We are looking for a Production Foreman who is a leader, an excellent communicator, a good team player, who has a keen eye for perfection, who values fine craftsmanship and who is friendly. The role demands a blend of leadership capabilities and experience, technical skills, and practical experience.

YOU - must have experience with leading a small production team. You must have good technical knowledge and have production experience with mechanical and electrical assemblies. You must be able to multi-task, manage time well, be organized, and have a keen eye for quality control.

A background in woodwork or metal work is advantageous.

DUTIES INCLUDE
- Works closely with studio principal, operations, and production staff
- Overseeing and coordinating daily operations
- Guiding team members and coordinating production staff daily
- Ensuring that production goals are met
- Generates production schedules
- Hands on assembly work
- Maintains + Improves production efficiency
- Ensures that production documents are maintained and updated
- Reports to operations, studio principal
- Responsible for all level QC (parts, fabrication, final product, packaging)
- Occasional client/showroom technical support
- HR support, including vetting/ interviewing new employees

Must have good electrical and assembly skills
Must be able to handle fragile materials
Must be able to read technical drawings
Fabrication skills a plus
