Note: The hourly rate for this position is $28 - $30 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and assist with unloading exhibit components from trucks and staging in the gallery space
  • Direct and participate in the setup of exhibit elements based on blueprints and design specifications
  • Assemble walls, metal frames, display cases, modular elements, interactive stations, and custom components
  • Ensure high standards of alignment, stability, and finish quality throughout all phases of the build
  • Lead the installation of graphic panels on walls, display units, and other surfaces
  • Align, level, and securely mount graphics using various fastening systems
  • Maintain visual consistency and professional presentation throughout

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Lead Carpenter or similar supervisory role in exhibit installation, set building, or custom fabrication
  • Ability to interpret and execute complex blueprints and technical drawings
  • OSHA 30 and SST Required. Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and material handling techniques
  • Keen eye for detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Strong communication and team leadership skills
