What You'll Get to Do
The Machine Operator 1 is focused on operating machinery to fabricate glass and reports to the Fabrication Supervisor.
This role is perfect for an individual who is detail-oriented, with strong mechanical aptitude, and a team player who prioritizes safety in every task. A vital member of the Fabrication Department this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.
Job responsibilities include:
Set up, operate, and calibrate CNC/Edger machines per job specifications.
Read blueprints, process work orders, andplete required documentation.
Measure, inspect, and ensure quality of fabricated glass.
Safely load/unload glass, using overhead cranes when needed.
Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and rotate between machines as required
What We Are Looking For
Basicputer skills for data entry.
6-12 months of machine operation experience.
Ability to read tape measures and perform calculations with fractions/decimals.
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently or in a team
