Our Audio Product Design (PD) team creates innovations that enhance music enjoyment, optimize communication, and refine sound across Apples wearable audio product line. The Audio Fit PD team develops mechanical architectures to ensure optimal comfort and fit across the population. We specialize in mechanical design, analysis, and prototyping, collaborating closely with teams such as Industrial Design, Human Factors, Biomechanics, Human Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, and Materials. Our attention to detail directly influences products loved by millions.

Description

Description As a member of the Audio Fit PD team, you will contribute throughout the product development cycle, including: Early concept ideation, prototyping, and testing to enhance AirPods fit Designing, executing, and analyzing user studies to inform product specifications for comfort and stability Design development, CAD modeling, and FEA analysis Detailed design, drafting, and statistical DOEs You will work with research, design, and engineering teams to create architectures that meet product goals while delivering exceptional user comfort. Occasional domestic and international travel (10%+) is required.

Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
