About This Role

Kansas State University's Aerospace and Technology Campus in Salina seeks a dedicated Building and Construction Supervisor to oversee campus construction projects. The position's duties include, but are not limited to:

Acting as primary liaison between contractors and K-State Salina

Attending all pre-construction, construction, and post-construction meetings

Inspecting job sites daily and being present for all testing, inspections, crane operations, etc.

Keeping project manager informed of any potential quality issues or delays

Reviewing building specification and design standards to ensure they accurately reflect the college's standards/intent

Tracking and ensuring all submittals are completed on a timely basis

Assisting financial manager with maintaining financial accounting for projects

Primary backup for fixed asset inventory management

What You'll Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a high school diploma and three years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field, OR 3+ years of experience in construction highly preferred

Other Requirements:

Valid Driver's License required upon employment

Sponsorship eligibility:

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without sponsorship
