Job Description:

Loenbro is currently looking for an Electrical Assistant Project Manager to join the team. As an Electrical Assistant Project Manager at Loenbro, you will be an essential part of our project management team, supporting the successful execution of the projects. You will work closely with Project Managers, gaining valuable experience and contributing to the overall project success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide close support to the senior project management team.

  • Develop project management techniques to ensure schedule requirements are met.

  • Initiate and track change orders using a log; act as a liaison between the field management team and the owner regarding all scope changes.

  • Provide close support and oversight of third-tier subcontractors.

  • Assist in creating and enforcing the project budget.

  • Assist in creating and submitting the Schedule of Values (SOV).

  • Oversee Project Engineers in processing Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, quantity takeoffs, and material tracking.

  • Manage the project closeout process to ensure all documentation is submitted to the owner.

  • Provide close support to the Quality Control team throughout construction and commissioning.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of Project Engineer experience in the electrical construction industry
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or other related field (preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft 365, Accubid, and Bluebeam)
  • Knowledge of CAD/BIM
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and industry standards is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safety and quality.
  • Ability to work outside majority of the time.
