MAU is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for Swiss Krono in Barnwell, SC. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a team of maintenance professionals and contractors, manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and drive adherence to safety and operational standards in a manufacturing environment. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Information

  • Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Must be available to support a 24/7/365 manufacturing operation

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of maintenance experience
  • Understanding of:
  • Electrical control systems (Servo Drives, PLCs)
  • Complex mechanical drive systems
  • Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Utilities: electrical, thermal oil, compressed air, HVAC

Preferred Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of management experience in a maintenance or technical role

  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization, from hourly associates to executive leadership
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse technical team, including engineers, technicians, and skilled trades personnel

Essential Functions

  • Participate in hiring maintenance personnel
  • Supervise maintenance staff and contractors
  • Organize and lead maintenance training programs
  • Set shift schedules and work assignments
  • Support development of maintenance policies and procedures
  • Order necessary tools, supplies, and equipment
  • Respond to and resolve maintenance requests
  • Ensure project timelines are met
  • Lead safety inspections at work sites
  • Perform maintenance duties as needed
  • Evaluate work sites for maintenance needs
  • Escalate unresolved issues and propose solutions
  • Enforce adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Ensure team compliance with OSHA regulations
  • Implement maintenance best practices
  • Work through maintenance managers to enhance systems and processes

Working Conditions

  • Work is performed in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to respond and support production needs around the clock
  • Interaction required with internal departments and external vendors, contractors, and equipment suppliers

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, hear, and use hands/fingers
  • Must meet physical requirements typical of a manufacturing environment

Travel

  • Up to 5% travel required, including short-notice travel
