Location: East Stroudsburg, PA Employment Type: Full-time About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Pipe Work Foreman to lead underground utility installation projects, including water, sewer, and stormwater lines . The ideal candidate must have strong experience with pipe installation, trench safety, and crew supervision , ensuring high-quality work while adhering to all safety and compliance regulations. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate installation of underground utilities , including water, sewer, and stormwater systems. Manage a crew of 3-5 laborers and operators to complete projects on time and within budget. Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and underground utility layouts . Ensure compliance with trench safety regulations, excavation standards, and local codes . Sequence and schedule work efficiently to align with overall project timelines. Oversee the operation of excavators, backhoes, trenchers, and other relevant equipment . Troubleshoot installation challenges and implement solutions to prevent delays. Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors . Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in pipe installation, sewer, water, and stormwater systems . Strong knowledge of trenching, shoring, and underground utility best practices . Proven experience managing a crew and coordinating workflow . Ability to read blueprints and site plans to execute work accurately. Familiarity with safety regulations related to underground utility work . Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
