Role Description This is a full-time on-site Construction Surveyor role to join our team at Midway Airport . This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and precision of construction projects, from site preparation to final inspections. The ideal candidate will have experience in surveying techniques, construction layouts, and collaborating with engineers and project managers to maintain project alignment and quality. Key Responsibilities: Conduct land and construction surveys using GPS, total stations, and laser scanning equipment. Establish control points, reference lines, and elevation benchmarks for construction teams. Work closely with engineers and contractors to ensure project specifications are met. Perform as-built surveys and document changes in site conditions. Analyze and interpret blueprints, maps, and survey data to provide accurate guidance. Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, safety standards, and project requirements at an active airport site. Qualifications Planning and Inspection skills Civil Engineering and Construction Safety skills 3+ years experience in Building Surveying Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Ability to work effectively in a team environment Excellent communication and organizational skills Knowledge of construction regulations and standards Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Proficiency in AutoCAD Why Join Us?
