OBJECTIVE OF JOB As a Project Manager , you will take the lead in managing cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and business domains to successfully deliver impactful projects. Your role will encompass the full project lifecycle, from creating detailed plans to executing Agile and Scrum methodologies. You'll be the key leader in overseeing enterprise-wide product development initiatives while ensuring that resource capacity and project timelines align efficiently. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Align Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) strategically to support project activities and ensure optimal resource allocation. Conduct comprehensive capacity planning to assess the availability of engineering resources and their ability to meet project demands and timelines. Maintain up-to-date project documentation within a centralized repository for easy access and tracking. Coordinate management processes to assess the effectiveness and benefits of projects continuously. Develop detailed project plans based on external Statements of Work (SOWs) and internal task breakdowns from the team. Champion the integration of Scrum methodology into the organization's project management practices to enhance efficiency. Ensure clear definitions and understanding of project scope, business cases, objectives, and success metrics for reporting. Establish and define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure resource capacity, project valuation, cost, risk, status, and overall performance. Understand and manage the interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs. Collaborate closely with the engineering team to monitor and assess the Engineering Capacity Framework . Ensure cross-functional teams understand the deliverables and dependencies to help the engineering team meet project deadlines. Provide clear, up-to-date, and meaningful project status reports. Lead postmortem analyses, continuous improvement sessions, and project retrospectives to drive future project efficiency. COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities) Experience in Engineering with a focus on R D, Design, and Testing. Proven track record in managing enterprise-wide product development projects that involve cross-functional teams from business, operations, and technical domains. Expertise in capacity planning to balance project demand and resource availability effectively. Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously, developing the necessary processes and tools for success. Experience as a Scrum Master , with proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, ClickUp, Basecamp, or Monday.com. Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. Strong understanding and application of standard project management methodologies, practices, and procedures. Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple responsibilities and ensuring tasks are completed on time. Skilled in integrating Agile and Waterfall methodologies, using a hybrid approach to meet diverse project requirements. WORK ENVIRONMENT This position is primarily office-based, offering moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions, and no exposure to hazardous physical substances. Some offsite work may be required, and travel could be necessary. PHYSICAL DEMANDS This role may require occasional bending, stooping, reaching, and pulling to retrieve and file documents. Employees may lift and carry materials such as reports and records that typically weigh less than 30 pounds. REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE BA/BS degree required with 5 to 7+ years of project management experience, handling progressively complex projects. PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with 5+ years of project management experience on increasingly complex projects, along with CAPM or CSM certification.
