Technician Pay: 25/hr 50/day Perdiem Job Description Join a renowned leader in ice arena construction and custom refrigeration systems. Since 1979, the company has been at the forefront of designing and building ice rinks worldwide, providing services from initial installation to ongoing maintenance. As a Technician, you will embark on an exciting entry-level opportunity that involves extensive travel across the United States, contributing to the installation of ice rinks from start to finish. Responsibilities Assist in the installation of ice rinks, including pipe installation, sand/grading, vapor barrier installation, insulation, and subfloor setup. Work on projects for municipal, high school, college, and NHL rinks across the country. Travel extensively across the US to various job sites and assist in the completion of 22 ice rinks scheduled for 2025. Essential Skills Proficiency in general labor and construction tasks. Experience with hand tools and power tools. Competence in using tape measures, working with concrete, and carpentry. Additional Skills & Qualifications Minimum of 6 months experience in construction, landscaping, concrete, or outdoor work. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Work Environment Experience a dynamic work environment with projects spanning various locations such as MT, CO, WI, CT, GA, FL, IA, and more. Work typically runs from Monday to Saturday with 50-60 hour weeks and 10-hour days. Jobs are indoors and generally take 2-3 weeks to complete. Lodging is covered by the company, along with a daily per diem or meal allowance of $50. For local work in Minnesota, drive to the site or report to the shop to travel with the crew. Longer distances involve company-paid flights. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.
