Framing Carpenter Job Description A prominent, family-owned company is seeking a framing carpenter to assist with the framework of commercial properties around the metro area. The role involves prefab framing of trusses, walls, and floors, and requires the ability to work both independently and as part of a crew. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately measuring, cutting, and assembling framing lumber. Responsibilities Perform prefab framing tasks including trusses, walls, and floors. Work independently and collaboratively with a crew. Accurately measure, cut, and assemble framing lumber. Attend safety orientation in Hugo on the first day and report to site daily. Essential Skills 1+ year of stick/wood framing experience. Proficiency in prefab and framing carpentry. Ability to read a tape measure and use a nail gun. Capability to haul own tools and have reliable transportation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Basic construction tools and tool belt. Experience in rough carpentry and general labor. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of HUGO, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
