Operations Manager

A well-established commercial flooring company in Waltham is looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to lead both project management and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be experienced in estimating flooring jobs, coordinating installation crews, managing vendor relationships, and overseeing warehouse staff and logistics. This role supports large-scale flooring projects for commercial clients including universities, hotels, and corporate buildings. Schedule: Monday to Friday - 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM Some overtime and occasional Saturdays required - Hours can change based on daily workload Pay: $65,000 - $80,000 (Depending on Experience) Responsibilities: Project Management Duties: Estimate flooring project costs using blueprints and scope documents Source materials and obtain pricing from vendors Communicate with clients to set expectations and timelines Supervise installers and oversee field operations Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure project success Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards Warehouse and Operations Duties: Oversee daily operations of a flooring warehouse Supervise a team of warehouse employees Manage incoming and outgoing materials and shipments Coordinate and load materials for job sites Operate a forklift and drive a 16-foot box truck when needed Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain warehouse safety Qualifications, Skills, and Experience: 3 or more years of experience in project management (flooring or construction preferred) Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints for estimating Experience managing warehouse operations and field teams Highly organized with strong attention to detail Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds Valid driver's license and clean driving record Forklift operation and box truck driving experience preferred #3368ST
