Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent in Bangor,ME,US

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage field operations for large-scale civil infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in highway, road, bridge, utility, and site development work, with proven leadership skills and the ability to maintain schedules, budgets, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Supervise day-to-day operations of heavy civil construction projects from start to finish. Manage field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure productivity and quality standards. Coordinate scheduling, material deliveries, inspections, and compliance with design specs. Enforce job site safety in accordance with company and OSHA regulations. Work closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery. Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, and documentation of site progress and challenges. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction (highways, earthwork, utilities, bridges, etc.). Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and safety regulations. Proven ability to lead teams and deliver projects on time and within budget. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency with project management tools and basic computer skills. Valid driver's license; travel to job sites required. Preferred Qualifications: OSHA 30 Certification Experience with DOT or municipal public works projects Proficiency with scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera)
