Project Engineer (Heavy Civil Construction)

Employment Type: Full-time Experience Level: 2–5 years preferred

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support roadway and bridge construction projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with civil infrastructure work and will assist project managers and field teams in delivering successful projects on time and within budget.

• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination

• Track quantities, prepare daily reports, and support cost control efforts

• Review project drawings, specifications, and submittals

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel

• Help manage RFIs, change orders, and project documentation

• Support quality control, safety compliance, and progress tracking

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

• 2–5 years of experience in roadway and/or bridge construction preferred

• Familiarity with DOT standards and heavy civil construction practices

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Proficiency with construction software (e.g., HCSS, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, MS Project)

• EIT certification or working toward PE license is a plus
