Truss Builder / Assembler Job Summary: We are seeking hardworking, reliable individuals to join our team as Truss Builders. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling pre-fabricated wooden components (trusses) used in building construction. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work as part of a team, and comfort using hand and power tools in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints or work orders to assemble wood components Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and other materials using various hand and power tools Place and connect truss components in correct position according to specifications Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow all safety protocols and company procedures Work efficiently to meet daily production goals Qualifications: Previous experience in construction, carpentry, or manufacturing is a plus, but not required Ability to read a tape measure accurately Comfortable using hand tools, nail guns, and saws Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Physical ability to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs) and stand for extended periods Team player with good communication skills Work Environment: Indoor/outdoor manufacturing environment Exposure to loud noise, sawdust, and varying temperatures Requires PPE (e.g., safety glasses, ear protection, gloves) Marathon Staffing is a equal opportunity employer!
