General Concrete Laborer---$23.16 to $27.15 DOE + Benefits + Union**
Concrete Technology Corporation (CTC) is hiring hardworking individuals to join our team in Tacoma, WA. This full-time, union position offers **year-round work**, on-the-job training, and great benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off. **Location:** Port of Tacoma **(not accessible by public transit)**
**Schedule:** Full-time, shifts vary and may start as early as 3:00 AM. Overtime and weekends are required based on production needs.
**Pay:** $23.16--$27.15/hour DOE.
**Requirements:**
- Applicants must have at least 2 years of VERIFIABLE construction experience. This means work history that can be confirmed through employer references **(under-the-table jobs do not qualify).**
- Complete the job application **in its entirety** and upload a **CURRENT** resume reflecting the last **10 years** of work history.
- You must be 18+, pass a drug test **(including marijuana)**, and pass a background check.
- Maintain regular attendance.
- Ability to work any assigned shift.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Comfortable using basic tools and reading tape measures.
- Physically capable of lifting in excess of 50 lbs. and performing repetitive tasks in all weather conditions.
- Must join or be a member of LiUNA Local 252 Laborers Union. Under the CTC CBA in the Manufacturing Sector.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
**Duties:**
- Work safely when operating or working around equipment.
- Follow directions communicated verbally and in construction drawings.
- Place and tie rebar.
- Identify fasteners and construction materials.
- Identify rebar and strand sizes.
