We are seeking an innovative and customer-obsessed Core Banking Product Led to drive the strategy, development, and modernization of our core banking platform, with a focus on enhancing client experience, frontline enablement, and Global Payments Solutions strategic objectives. The role will bridge Technology, Line of Business, front office and Operations to ensure delivery of scalable, secure, and client-centric solutions.
As our Senior Project Manager and Core Banking Product Owner you will:
- Responsible for developing business strategy and requirements and delivering core banking functionalities that enhance client experiences and empower client-facing staff using HSBC Wholesale Core Banking or Deposit platform
- Develop, own and execute the core banking product roadmap aligned with business goals, technology modernization efforts, and regulatory mandates
- Partner with Payments & Cash Management Product leads to support strategic initiatives and collaborate with engineering, architecture, compliance, and business teams to build scalable, resilient, and modular core solutions
- Advocate for customers and frontline needs throughout the Development lifecycle and work closely with frontline teams, operations, and client experience functions to ensure new capabilities support real-world
- Leverage analytics, client feedback, and frontline insights to drive continuous improvement and innovation on the Deposit Platform
- Act as Product Owner in Agile pod and support pod demand and capacity planning, reporting, issues, risks and dependencies management
- Develop business processes and procedures for end users of the platform and ensure that changes to their processes/procedure are communicated in a timely manner to the stakeholders.
For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $125,600.00 and $160,000.00
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements
Youll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
- Knowledge of Payments & Cash management and Core Banking or Deposit Platforms
- Strong understanding of core banking system or deposit systems and their integration with payments and cash management infrastructure
- Proven experience for developing innovative solutions that provide a complete understanding of customers' needs and solid grasp of banking operations across deposits, payments, and liquidity management
- Business Analysis, Project Management and Agile experience, PMP or Agile Product Manager/Owner certifications a plus
- Proven ability to operate across onshore and offshore team in a matrixed environment across multiple countries, and across lines of business & product groups to deliver end to end solutions
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills and ability to make decisions independently
- Experience in eliciting, analyzing and communicating requirements across multiple stakeholders
- Deliver fair outcomes for our customers. Review risks associated with role and inherent in business, considering of changing economic and market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operational procedures and practices
