Heavy Equipment Operator

About the Role:

The Heavy Equipment Operator plays a crucial role in the construction and maintenance of various projects, ensuring that heavy machinery is operated safely and efficiently. This position is responsible for the precise operation of equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and cranes to facilitate earthmoving, grading, and other construction tasks. Operators will work closely with site supervisors and other team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Safety is a top priority, and operators must adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while performing their duties. Ultimately, the Heavy Equipment Operator contributes significantly to the successful completion of construction projects, impacting the overall productivity and quality of work delivered by the team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and certification to operate heavy machinery.
• Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a construction environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional certifications in specialized equipment operation.
• Experience with GPS and other technology used in heavy equipment operation.
• Knowledge of construction site safety regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy machinery including bulldozers, excavators, and cranes for various construction tasks.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to plan and execute project tasks effectively.
