Associate Mechanical Engineer - OJT

Mechanical Engineer Job Description All City Engineering is looking for full time Entry or Mid-Level Mechanical Engineers to join our fast-developing company as a plumbing engineer.Job duties will include:Designing mechanical systems (use AutoCAD to design HVAC systems including ventilation requirements, outdoor/indoor units, and exhaust systems, as well as mechanical control plans including sequence of operation, narrative, compliance with NYC Energy Code)Using Elite or Trace 700 software to calculate heating/cooling load calculations, including wall/windows/roof R-value, number of people, ventilationsSurveying and inspecting job sitesHaving knowledge of construction/energy code and standard utilization and interpretation (compliance with NYC Local Law 84/88/97 etc.)Performing heating/cooling load calculationsAssisting with the NYC Clean Heat rebate program for projectsCoordination with different trades within the company and others such as architects, structural engineers, clients, and jurisdiction authoritiesPerform various engineering calculations and prepare construction documents using AutoCAD and/or Revit.The ideal full-time candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:0-10 Years of Architectural/Engineering Experience.Basic knowledge of floor layout, elevations, sections etc.Basic knowledge of AutoCADAbility to perform Field Survey(s)Knowledge of NYC Codes is a PlusStrong production and communication skills.Self-motivated and willing to take challenges.Able to communicate English and Chinese with clients is a plus.Salary/Benefits:Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23.00 - $50.00 per hour401K with matchingVacation, personal and sick time, with paid time off.Provide Sponsorship as needed.Health insuranceSchedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to FridayEducation: Bachelor's (Preferred)Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred)Work Location: In person*Related experience okay specifically: Architectural, Plumbing, Electrical Engineering.*Overtime available.
