Machine Builder

Machine Builder Overview: We're looking for a detail-oriented and mechanically skilled Machine Builder with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in machine manufacturing. The ideal candidate is confident using hand tools, excels at problem-solving, and communicates effectively in a team environment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. Key Responsibilities: Assemble machinery and equipment by interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and bills of materials. Maintain organized workstations and manage inventory. Conduct quality inspections and address any defects or issues. Perform rework or repairs based on engineering feedback. Follow all safety protocols and quality standards. Install components such as grease lines, air lines, sheet metal guards, switches, and pneumatics. Carry out drilling and tapping operations as needed. Assist with machine shipping and post-assembly troubleshooting. Participate in on-site installations and modifications (approx. 20% travel; negotiable). Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in machine building or mechanical assembly. Proficient in reading blueprints and using hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers). Familiarity with electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and troubleshooting. Ability to lift 30-50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks. High School diploma or GED required; technical certification is a plus. Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in machine building or a related technical field. Basic electrical assembly experience. Why Join Us?
