Project Estimator/Sales Representative

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Locally owned Second generation Industrial painting

company entering it\'s 50th year is seeking an individual to join our

staff. This position is responsible to expand the company\'s customer

base and service current assigned accounts. The candidate will develop

estimate proposals for the work to be preformed by doing take-offs

(measure job site for square footage, determine proper methods to access

the area, determine appropriate prep methods and correct coatings).

Preparing job instructions for the crews. The ideal candidate will have

experience with job estimating techniques. Contact existing and new

customers through cold calling, emails, etc. Develop mailers, update

mailing lists and design and update marketing material. Follow up after

job completion. Answer phones and sign for packages when needed.

Position will be compensated with a base salary plus commission. Answer

customers\' questions about services, prices, availability, or credit

terms. Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve

problems and provide ongoing support. Contact prospective or existing

customers to discuss how services can meet their needs. Develop sales

presentations or proposals to explain service specifications. Distribute

promotional materials at meetings, conferences, or trade shows.

Emphasize or recommend service features based on knowledge of

customers\' needs and vendor capabilities and limitations. Inform

customers of contracts or other information pertaining to purchased

services. Maintain customer records using automated systems. Quote

prices, credit terms, contract terms, or fulfillment dates for services.

Compute and compare costs of services. Create forms or agreements to

complete sales. Identify prospective customers using business

directories, leads from clients, or information from conferences or
