Location
Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job Summary
Supervisory position with advanced technical skills and the ability to manage and lead a discipline shop. Diagnoses and directs Heating Ventilation and Air conditioning (HVAC) issues requiring extensive experience, skills, and training.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -
Supervises assigned staff and locations
Expertise in managing airflows to maintain lab standards
Maintains and develops Building Automation Systems with contractors and internal technicians
Inspects crew maintenance operations and ensures timely completion of work orders and assignments
Responsible for accurate and timely communication with personnel to ensure the completion of tasks and projects related to the systematic inspection, detection, and correction of all building systems
Facilitates accurate and timely communications among shops, other disciplines, the management team, contractors, and the campus regarding changes, updates, scheduling, maintenance, and preventative maintenance tasks
Establishes and communicates standards for performance
Assesses, addresses and records of staff performance
Assists with maintenance tasks as needed, assigned, or volume dictated
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Other Required Qualifications
Current, valid and unrestricted driver's license
EPA universal refrigerant certification
Required Experience
Four (4) years related work experience in construction and/or maintenance in residential, commercial, or industrial settings, or a combination, including at least two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience.

Preferred Educational Qualifications
An undergraduate or advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Proposed Salary
The minimum of the salary range is $34.24 per hour. Offers are based on relevant experience.

Able to use and understand all meters/test equipment related to Plumbing systems
Able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

Able to maintain professional and appropriate appearance
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
KNOWLEDGE
A strong understanding of clean rooms and HVAC related to a laboratory environment
Understands and complies with building codes, electrical codes, fire codes, and other technical standards and specifications
Knowledge of EPA chemical disposal regulations, procedures, and documentation processes
Knowledge of confined space entry procedures
High level of knowledge of maintenance disciplines outside the trade
Knowledge of governing federal, state and/or local regulations
Advanced working knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems
SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management and project management
Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
