PEMCCO seeks an experienced Scheduler to support a Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC) Program for MARTA. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience with transit or rail infrastructure scheduling, using Primavera P6 to develop, maintain, and monitor integrated project schedules, including operationally constrained phasing plans.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and maintain CPM schedules for complex infrastructure projects
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of scheduling activities with operational constraints
  • Prepare schedule updates, variance analyses, and look-ahead reports
  • Analyze contractor schedules for accuracy, constructability, and compliance
  • Support project managers in managing schedule risks and schedule optimization

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
  • Experience in railroad or transit project scheduling and phasing
  • Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, or a related field
  • 5+ years of scheduling experience in rail/transit or large infrastructure projects

Work Environment:

  • Primarily office-based with some visits to construction sites or client facilities (e.g., MARTA offices or rail yards) with remote work flexibility.
  • Exposure to a team-oriented setting with interaction among engineers, project controls, procurement, and contractors.
  • Occasional site visits may elicit exposure to construction-related noise, dust, and outdoor conditions.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Occasionally required to travel to job sites, which may include walking, standing, or wearing PPE.
  • Ability to lift and transport documents, laptops, or project files up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to navigate construction environments during site visits, which may involve uneven surfaces or climbing stairs.
