Loenbro is looking for motivated and experienced Precision Millwrights to work within various Plants and Facilities at or near Wahpeton, ND. This job will be responsible for various Millwright responsibilities including but not limited to bearing changes, drive shafts, drilling tapping, move machinery and equipment, using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks. Will need to show proficiency in reading plans working solo or in a team. Must be able to pass preliminary background and drug testing. Competitive wage and benefit package depend on experience. Job Duties:

  • Be proficient in working with required tools and equipment.
  • Reading blueprints
  • Assemble, install, or dismantle machinery per instruction.
  • Operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, and welders; following diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
  • Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • All other tasks assigned.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Experience
  • Use a wide variety of tools, mechanical aptitude is needed.
  • Able to lift heavy objects, physically manipulate objects.
  • Read blueprints and other technical documents to put machinery together.
  • Positive and professional attitude with safety 1st attitude
  • Self-motivated
  • Working knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade
  • Limited oversight required by supervisors.
  • Ability to work effectively to establish good working relationships with other employees.
  • Must have OSHA 10 certification

Potential Hazards:

  • Subject to working in a variety of construction environments.
  • Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures
  • Fit and move in confined spaces.
  • Limited working surfaces Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors
  • Exposure to areas with limited visibility
  • Ability to maintain and prioritize tasks and projects in a busy shop environment.
