Cost Engineer/Estimator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Engineer to join our Construction Management team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in cost control, takeoffs, and contractor cost reconciliation, particularly within Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. Youll play a key role in ensuring project cost accuracy and efficiency while gaining opportunities for professional growth.

• Perform quantity takeoffs to support project planning and budgeting.
• Reconcile contractor invoices and costs to ensure alignment with project budgets.
• Conduct in-depth cost analysis using Excel and develop custom spreadsheets for tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate with project teams to support cost forecasting and change order evaluations.

• 25+ years of experience in construction or construction management.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems.
• Proven experience with change order negotiation and contractor cost reconciliation.
• Proficiency in Excel, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD.

• Experience working with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is a plus.

• This is a 100% in-office role based in the Yonkers/Bronx, NY offering close collaboration with a dynamic Construction Management team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
