Senior Project Manager, Architecture
About the Job
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead architectural design and construction projects from concept through completion. You'll manage cross-functional teams, collaborate with clients and consultants, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage all phases of architectural projects, from design through construction.
Supervise, mentor, and support design team members.
Review and finalize construction documents and technical drawings.
Develop project budgets and manage cost estimates.
Monitor construction progress and ensure alignment with project plans and timelines.
Serve as the primary liaison for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and accessibility standards.
Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for client meetings.
Conduct site surveys and field observations as needed.
Oversee project documentation, contracts, and invoicing.
Track project milestones, staffing needs, and financial performance.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
5+ years of experience in architectural project management.
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of construction documentation and field observation.
Excellent communication, leadership, and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Architecture or related discipline.
Architectural licensure.
Experience with commercial, retail, hospitality, or restaurant projects.
Familiarity with SketchUp, Photoshop, or Illustrator.
Strong knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Knowledge of design techniques and tools for producing coordinated technical documents.
