Job Description As a Journeyman Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in both residential and commercial structures. Your role will involve interpreting blueprints and building specifications to map out layouts for plumbing systems. You will also inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance, as well as diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Interpret blueprints and building specifications for plumbing layouts. Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety and compliance. Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and recommend solutions. Collaborate with contractors and other professionals on job sites. Maintain accurate records of time, materials, and work performed. Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients. Essential Skills Valid Journeyman Plumber license. High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program. Minimum of 3-5 years of plumbing experience. Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical stamina and dexterity for various environments. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with stainless steel, copper, polypropylene, PVC, and CPVC materials. Proficient in brazing, electrofusion, grooving, and soldering. Familiar with ProPress, Swagelok, and other jointing methods. Why Work Here?
