General Laborer in Concrete Construction Job Description Engage in a variety of manual labor tasks within concrete and masonry construction projects, ensuring that work surfaces are prepared for concrete application. This position involves shoveling concrete into designated construction areas and performing a broad range of tasks not limited to concrete work. Responsibilities Perform manual labor in preparing surfaces for concrete. Shovel concrete into the construction area. Engage in a variety of tasks as a general laborer. Maintain a clean job site by picking up tools and equipment and securing the job site daily to eliminate potential hazards. Handle and store materials appropriately. Load and unload trucks, as well as haul and hoist materials. Ensure adherence to proper safety and incident reporting procedures. Essential Skills Knowledge of equipment, materials, and supplies used in concrete and masonry construction work. Understanding of first aid and applicable safety precautions.
