About the Role
GHT seeks a bright, motivated electrical design engineer with a B.S. degree from an ABET-accredited institution, with 3+ years of directly related experience (or 5+ years without the degree). Equivalent combinations of education/experience will be accepted.
Qualified candidates will have:
Demonstrated proficiency and experience in electrical design for commercial interior projects, including lighting and power circuitry and controls, and fire alarm design;
Working knowledge of building, energy, and green codes;
Ability to work both independently with teams;
Strong organizational skills to accurately and efficiently complete work on fast-paced projects.
Motivation to excel and learn;
Possess good verbal and written communication skills; responsive to team members and clients.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS-Office;
Ability to travel to job sites and conduct site visits (requires carrying equipment and exposure to heights).
PREFERRED: familiar with LEED Commercial Interiors, Revit experience.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without current OR future visa sponsorship. GHT participates in E-Verify.
Must successfully complete pre-employment background check and drug test. Certain projects may have additional requirements.
