TOMRA, an international recycling company is looking to fill the role of Maintenance Mechanic at our Vestal, NY facility.First shift: Monday through Friday. $25.00-$27.00/Hr Based on experienceJob DescriptionPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and buildings to include, but not limited to:Conveyors (All types)Power transmission systems (direct, belt, and chain driven)Hydraulic balersAir compressors and associated systemsDocks, doors, and dock levelersMust be able to repair and/or replace motors, speed reduction/gear boxes, chain drives, rollers, belt lacing and belts utilizing industry standard methods for installation (e.g. alignment and tensioning).Must be able to fabricate, repair, and install all types of guarding on material handling equipment at the plant.Must be able to repair building plumbing systems and their components.Proficient in reading schematics and drawings.Must be able to repair and replace failed lighting circuits and components.Operate industrial machinery as directed by the supervisor/Operations ManagerScrap Baling equipmentForkliftScissor/Articualting boom liftConveyorsBulk Material TippersAny tasks assigned by managementQualificationsMinimum 3-5 years of experience in the field of industrial maintenance is required.Preferred QualificationsA.S.
